Ciel awoke with a start at the sudden sound. Looking around his darkened room, his eyes slowly adjusting, he turned to look at the clock on his bedside table; the only source of light in the blacked out room. The time illuminated was 1:15am. It had only been a mere 2 hours since he laid down to rest for the night. Ciel let out a slight groan as he rubbed his eyes between the index finger and thumb of his hand. "I need to sleep" he said out loud to the dark and still room somewhat annoyed, as if to place blame on the inanimate furniture for his current awakened state.
